Our mission

1. To revolutionize the way people experience fashion by offering a sustainable alternative to traditional clothing consumption. Through our rental wardrobe shop, we aim to empower individuals to express their unique style while minimizing their environmental footprint.

2. To promote a circular economy, reduce textile waste, and encourage conscious consumption habits by providing access to quality, on-trend clothing for rent. To commit to affordability, inclusivity, and convenience ensures that everyone can enjoy the thrill of wearing garments without the environmental guilt.

3. To celebrate and preserve the rich cultural heritage of indigenous peoples through ethically sourced and authentically crafted clothing. We strive to empower indigenous artisans and communities by promoting sustainable practices and fostering cultural appreciation. By showcasing the beauty and diversity of indigenous traditions in every garment, we aim to bridge cultures, inspire dialogue, and create a more inclusive world where indigenous voices are heard and respected

Our vision

Our vision is to spearhead a global movement toward a circular fashion environment while championing Philippine indigenous tapestries internationally.

Our story

Originally opened in 2017 at the third floor of Baguio City's Maharlika Livelihood Complex as Carolina's Dress Shop, Baguio's Closet has come a long way since its humble beginnings. We started by renting out an old collection that we had bought. We began stocking a variety of costumes the following year in response to popular demand, and by the year after that, we had added a personal collection of Indigenous attires. Tailoring and dressmaking services were also offered for custom orders.

When the pandemic hit in late 2019, we considered Indigenous woven materials and launched the clothing line, MA79 Ethnic & Glamour, a 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 line 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴. Together with our sister company, Wilvy Shows Entertainment Productions, we organize yearly events like the Ivy Fashion Ball and Habing Katutubo as part of our promotional campaigns.
